A Week on the Farm weekend programs for grade school children provides an intensive experience for children in many aspects of farming. Children participate in and are responsible for all types of farm chores including animal care, gardening, woodworking, and dairy chores with Walter Moora. The children also prepare and eat primarily organic food from scratch in meals of unbelievable quality; receive an individual riding lesson focusing on basic horsemanship skills, balance, and communication with the horse, eventually leading to jumping. Children also participate in animal chores including milking sheep, cows, and goats, handling and caring for horses, cows, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and pigs.
